Paul is laying the foundation on what it takes to be responsible man. You are responsible for the training and admonition of the Lord in your home. You are the priest of your family. You must lead the family into the place of worship. You must be an example in prayer, love, and worship in your home. Set the example. Ask yourself, what is your prayer life like? What is your worship life like? Are you living a Christian life in front of your family.
Proverbs 22:6 As a father, there is a part you play in the training of your childeren. Your part is to teach and model the image of Christ to your family. Men, do your part and take your place as the leader of your home. Your family should be able to follw in your footseps to the point in which when you stop walking you and your family are looking at Christ.
